Running Springs, CA, March 21, 2014 – A poor decision behind the wheel can take lives in an instant. In fact, car accidents are the leading cause of death for Americans aged 15 to 20. The California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Start Smart program is an effort to help young drivers and their parents understand the responsibilities of driving a motor vehicle.
CHP officers will be present the next Start Smart Class April 24th at 6:00 p.m. at their Arrowhead Office (31230 State Route 18 Running Springs, CA 92382).
Parents and new drivers can attend for free, but they need to RSVP by April 23rd at (909) 867-2791. Space is limited to the first 25 students and parents; additional classes will be scheduled as needed.
