Big Bear, CA, January 21, 2016 – Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, Deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Spruce Avenue in Sugarloaf, in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation. Two male subjects, identified as 20-year-old Riley Foust and 22-year-old Tyler Olson, were at the location at the time the warrant was served.
During execution of the search warrant, Deputies located and seized methamphetamine and paraphernalia consistent with drug sales. Deputies also seized an illegal baton found to be in the possession of Tyler Olson.
Both suspects were arrested without incident and booked into the Big Bear Jail on felony charges of possession of narcotics for sale. Olson was additionally charged with the misdemeanor violation of possession of an illegal baton. They remain in custody at West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail each. Arraignment hearings in this matter are scheduled for today in the San Bernardino County Superior Court.
