Big Bear Lake, CA, February 26, 2015 – Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a suspicious person at residence in Big Bear Lake. The homeowner reported seeing a male subject wearing a hoodie milling around the property.The male subject was found by deputies hiding under a table on an outdoor deck at the location.
The suspect, identified as Blake Rush, was found to be in possession of heroin and paraphernalia that is consistent with drug sales. Rush also had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of petty theft. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Big Bear Jail on a felony charge of being in possession of heroin for sale, as well as the outstanding petty theft warrant. Rush remains in custody in lieu of $75,000, pending an arraignment hearing set for today at San Bernardino County Superior Court.
