Big Bear, Ca, October 11, 2011, 5:00pm – Southwest Gas is once again hosting their annual Winter Coat Drive. The company’s employee volunteer team Blue, which stands for Building Lives Up Everywhere, sponsors the event. Donations can be made now through October 25 at various locations throughout Big Bear. “This coat drive has been successful for the past 13 years because of the generosity of our community and our employees, and we’re looking forward to another successful year,” said Brad Huff, Customer Specialist for Southwest Gas and coordinator of this year’s event. “We’re thankful for the support we receive and to be able to provide free coats to help keep our neighbors warm during the cold weather,” he added. Donations of new and clean gently-used coats for men, women and children can be made at the following locations throughout the Big Bear area during regular business hours: Southwest Gas, Alaska Federal Credit Union, the Mom & Dad Project and Vons. The coats will be available free to the community on Wednesday, November 2, between 9:00 am-5:00 pm, at Southwest Gas’s Business Office located next to Pine Knot Marina.
