Snow Summit Wraps 2008/2009 Season With Half-Price Lift Tickets; BBMR’s Golf Season Gets Into Swing on May 8

There are just two more full ski days left in the season, as Snow Summit resort closes after Saturday. For those looking to get final runs on the slopes, Snow Summit is offering half-price lift tickets on both Friday and Saturday. To take advantage of the half-off price, lift tickets must be booked online, one day prior, at BigBearMountainResorts.com—given this offer, even Saturday skiing and riding, available from 8:30am to 4pm, only costs $26 if booked online today or tomorrow. Come May 16, the sky chair will be running to the top of the mountain on weekends, and daily as of June 20. In the meantime, Big Bear Mountain Resorts have scheduled opening day on the golf course for Friday, May 8 (weather permitting). The driving range opens April 24, at which time golf season passes will be on sale at the clubhouse. And, in other news from the resorts, the golden eggs in Snow Summit’s Easter Egg Hunt, each containing a four-pack of 2009/2010 season lift tickets, went to teenager Kenny Tavoc and, in the under-12 group, Vincent Gibbs.
