Big Bear, Ca, January 10, 2011, 3:00pm – The Snow Summit Race Team represented the Big Bear area this past weekend at the South Series Race against Team Mountain High. The Snow Summit Race Team came away as the victors for each division that competed which includes boys and girls J4 and J5 Division. The J4 division consists of boys and girls age 11 to 12, and the J5 division is the youngest division with kids age 8 to 10. 10 year old Chase Dowty, and 10 year old Elle Williams won the J5 division for Saturday and Sunday. Megah McElfish was the fastest J4 Girl on both Saturday and Sunday, with Emerson Warren winning on Saturday and Johan Auer winning on Sunday for the J4 boys. The next race in the Snow Summit race Team line up is this weekend, and will be a qualifier for the Junior Olympics for J3’s which are 13 and 15 year olds.
