Snow Summit Celebrates 60 Years

Big Bear Lake, CA, January 11, 2013 – Bundle up for the 60^th Anniversary Celebration at Snow Summit. The party starts at noon this Saturday, January 12th. They’ll have live entertainment provided by the Straight 78 Band from noon until 4pm at the Slope Side Pub. Then from 5pm until closing the Slope Side Pub and Summit Inn will offer half off all beverages and half off appetizers. DJ Desi will be at the Summit Bullwheel Bar from 4:30pm until closing. At 7pm, experience the spectacular midwinter fireworks show. The Junior Olympic Qualifiers will be held at Snow Summit through January 13th. The top skiers in the country, including Big Bear locals, can try out for the Junior Olympic Ski Team. Don’t miss the next night sessions of the season this Friday and Saturday at Snow Summit, and dress warm because it’s going to be a very cold weekend in Big Bear Valley.
