Big Bear Lake, CA, December 6, 2012 – While you may not be able to ski and board much this weekend, you can still take advantage of the dry weather and get in on the last Skyline Trail Build Day of the year. The Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation wants you to know that the first 3.5 miles of their new hiking, biking, and equestrian trail is almost finished. The tractors have moved off the mountain and now they need volunteer hand crews to put the final touches on the single-track. If you’d like to help, join the Trails Foundation this Sunday, December 9th for 3-hour trail building sessions. They start at 9am and 12:30pm with a free lunch provided. Everyone will meet on forest road 2N10 near the top of Snow Summit. You can RSVP and get more information online at The Trails Foundation website.
