Big Bear Lake, CA March 27, 2015 – On Thursday, Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley held their annual “Man About Town” kick off campaign to announce this year’s three contestants. This year’s theme is “Charging Forward for Woman’s Health”. Man About Town is the organization’s biggest fundraiser with the goal this year to raise money to support local women’s health programs including a women’s health symposium and their annual mammogram program at the hospital held in partnership with the Hospital Foundation. This year’s candidates include Craig Brewster, Mike Kostiuk, and Rob Robbins. Craig Brewster is co-owner and operator of his family’s business, Nottingham’s Restaurant and the Robinhood Resort, Mike Kostiuk is owner and operator of Murray’s Saloon and Rob Robbins sits on the Board of Directors of the hospital for the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District. This year, each of the three candidates are limited to two fundraising events. Each dollar raised accounts for one vote for the candidate. The contestant who raises the most money will be crowned Man About Town 2015 at the May 17th finale.
