The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has just released information on a homicide that took place in Angelus Oaks, though the victim, a 60-year-old female, has not yet been named. Per the press release received this afternoon: “On Monday, November 2 at 11:53am, deputies responded to a 911 call at Camp Cedar Falls Campground and Conference Center in Angelus Oaks. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that an employee of the campground had located a female victim inside the conference center. Deputies and fire personnel confirmed the female victim appeared to be suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Leith Hamilton, 30 years of age and a resident of Angelus Oaks. Hamilton was arrested [for PC 187 Murder] without incident and is currently in custody. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detail were requested and responded to the scene. It is unknown at this time what may have led to the shooting. Update as of Tuesday morning: The Coroner’s Department has since identified the victim as 60-year-old Celebrada Lomato-Sexton, a resident employee of the Cedar Falls Campground and Conference Center.
