In this morning’s pep assembly, Big Bear High School’s Homecoming Court was announced; those senior girls voted to represent the Class of 2010 on the court include Rubi Bravo, Amber Carpenter, Yurilia Lopez, Stephanie Norton, Ashley Rolston, and Lauren Schour. In other news from BBHS, Bears football opens their season with games against the Grace Brethren Lancers today; JV plays at 5pm, varsity kicks off at 7:30pm. The Bears’ first home football games will be played on Saturday, September 12 against rivals Aquinas High School. BBHS Homecoming is scheduled for Saturday, September 26. The Bears will play San Jacinto in games at 10:45am and 1:30pm on the 26th; the homecoming queen will be crowned during half-time of the afternoon varsity game.
Update: The Bears varsity team played a close game on Friday, but lost to Grace Brethren is a score of 30-32.
