Enrollment is now underway for college classes through San Bernardino Valley College, with nine different offerings for the spring session to be held at Big Bear High School. All courses are offered on midweek evenings, with classes starting on Tuesday, January 12. Classes offered include Conversational Spanish, Interpersonal Communications, Principles of Accounting, Digital Photography, General Biology, Child Development, Literature of Film, and two math classes, including Pre-Algebra. No high school diploma is required for most San Bernardino Valley College classes, though assessments may be required for some English and math courses. Students can first enroll via the college’s website, at valleycollege.edu, and then register as no orientation is required, except for those participating in math offerings (more info: 909/384-8588). College-level classes are offered at $26 per unit and, again, are held locally at BBHS on Maple Lane in Sugarloaf starting next week.
