London, England – Big Bear Lake, CA, August 9, 2012– Ryan Hall, two-time Olympian, runs the Olympic Marathon Sunday Morning as the final event of the 2012 London Olympics. According to Ryan’s mother Susie Hall, “Jackie Joiner sent an email to the athletes encouraging them that winning gold or silver medals are meaningless in the scheme of life, it is their happiness with the quality of their lives that is important”. She went on to say that “Ryan can honestly say that he will be happy with the outcome no matter what. It has been a long and rough road getting to this place but is very reassuring”. “Ryan says he feels most comfortable in the front. Ryan says that if he has any chance at medaling he will need to stay with the lead pack. So that will be the sign; if he is feeling good he will be running with the lead pack. He says his injuries are not giving him any trouble with his running. Praise God!”. Ryan and the family are moving to London Friday.
Susie Hall describes it as “a magical place, so rich in history. Just stepping out of the subway into London is filled with anticipation and excitement”. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To Him be the glory!”. Susie Hall went on to tell KBHR that Olympic athletes who are inspired by cheers from their hometown tend to have the best results. Big Bear is so very proud of Ryan and is cheering for him and the entire Olympic Team.
