Big Bear Lake’s City Council meets for their second regular meeting of the month this evening at 6pm in Hofert Hall in the Civic Center. The Lighthouse Project is scheduled to make a presentation on last September’s Run the Bear Marathon and, in Action Items, Council’s one agendized discussion is with regard to the Sister City program. Since 1984, Big Bear Lake has been the official “Friendship City” to Rosarito Beach, Mexico, while, also since 1984, has been the “Sister City” to Abtenau, Austria. City Council meetings are open to the public.
