Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Big Bear Lake City Council is Tonight

 Big Bear Lake, CA, July 26, 2010, 4:15pm – Tonight will be the regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Big Bear Lake City Council with the closed session beginning at 5:30pm and the open session beginning at 6:30pm.  Agenda items include special acknowledgement and recognition of Kathy Jefferies for her 22 years of service to the City of Big Bear Lake.  Her last position held was that of City Clerk.  Additionally, introductions will be made of the students visiting from sister city Abtenau, Austria.  The consent calendar includes consideration of an award for a professional services contract for the widening of Big Bear Blvd between Paine and Pine Knot.  Additionally, a public hearing will take place where Council will consider a resolution confirming property tax assessment for the Village streetscape maintenance.  There will be a presentation by City Staff on the fiscal year 2009-2010 accomplishments as well as 2010-2011 goals and projects.
