Four Public Meetings Scheduled for Tuesday, Including DWP and Affordable Housing Presentations Before City

There are four public meetings scheduled for tomorrow, the first of which is a special meeting of the City of Big Bear Lake’s Improvement Agency and the Planning Commission, scheduled to begin at 8:30am. The joint agency morning meeting on the 22nd will be to review nine affordable housing proposals from eight different companies, one of which is Habitat for Humanity of Big Bear Valley. This special meeting takes place at Northwoods Resort, located at 40650 Village Drive in Big Bear Lake and, again, at 8:30am.
At 9am, the Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Power holds their regular meeting, which will include a Public Hearing to address administrative and meter installation fees, and capacity charges; the 9am DWP meeting will be held at their offices at 41972 Garstin Drive in Big Bear Lake.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors hold their regular meeting at 10am at the County Government Center in San Bernardino; there are no agenda items specific to Big Bear slated for tomorrow’s County Board meeting.
On Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30pm, the Budget Advisory Committee of the Bear Valley Unified School District convenes at the school district offices on Moonridge Road, for a state and district budget update.
