Big Bear Lake, CA, September 13, 2016 – United States Olympian Brenda Martinez of the Big Bear Track Club is set to lead the ceremonial parade lap to start the Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathon in Big Bear Lake on Friday September 16th. The parade lap takes runners on a short loop through The Village of Big Bear Lake running right down Village Drive before they depart on their 100 mile trail run around the lake. The community is invited to come out and support our local Olympian and the runners taking on one of the toughest races in the country. The parade lap starts at 12pm and is expected to take roughly 5 minutes.
