Big Bear Lake, CA, October 28, 2013 – Starting November 10, bus riders will have more options when commuting down the hill. MARTA’s Off-the-Mountain service from Big Bear to San Bernardino will be expanded to include two trips on Sundays, leaving the Interlaken Shopping Center at 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., returning from San Bernardino twice on Sunday.
Off-the-Mountain service will now be available every day of the week, with convenient connections in San Bernardino to numerous Omnitrans buses, Greyhound Station, and Metrolink and Amtrak trains at Santa Fe Station.
Mountain Area Regional Transit Authority provides Fixed Route, Dial-a-Ride, and Off-the-Mountain public transit services to over 50,000 residents of the San Bernardino Mountains, including Bear Valley, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Snow Valley, and Running Springs.
