North Shore Drive Closure

Fawnskin, CA, April 3, 2013 – Highway 38, North Shore Drive, will be closed from Stanfield Cutoff west to the Fawnskin triangle on Thursday, April 4, 8:00AM – 4:00PM for the Big Bear Time Trial of the 29^th Annual Redlands Bicycle Classic. Please also be aware of heavy bicycle traffic on the southbound lane of North Shore Drive between Stanfield Cutoff and Division from 9:00AM– 12:00PM, although this portion of the road will be open, professional riders will be warming up for the races. The East Boat Ramp will be CLOSED for launching on Thursday – please launch FREE at Big Bear Marina for this day only. Spectators wishing to watch the race and visit the team parking lot, are asked to park in the North Shore Elementary school parking lot and walk in to the race area – crossing at the crosswalk at the school and entering via the Alpine Pedal Path.
