MWD Meets: Antique and Classic Boat Show To be Approved

Big Bear, Ca, August 15, 2011, 3:00pm – The Big Bear Lake Municipal Water District will meet on August 18th for their regularly scheduled meeting.  Items on the agenda include approving a special event permit for the Antique and Classic Boat show that is set to be held August 18th through the 21st at B’s Backyard BBQ in which 25 to 30 participants are expected with a potential of 3000 spectators.  The board will also consider approving a request from Big Bear Marina to take a loan with First Mountain Bank for marina improvements.  Big Bear Marina must get MWD permission to do so as they lease the land from the MWD.  The meeting will take place at the MWD offices on Lakeview Drive at 1:00pm.  The public is encouraged to attend and may speak during public comment time.
