Big Bear, Ca, January 24, 2011, 4:00pm – Last year the MS Walk in Big Bear raised $51,000 towards Multiple Sclerosis, and this year, the group hopes to raise 60,000. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society invites you to “Come and celebrate the movement at North Shore Elementary School in beautiful Big Bear Lakes. Choose a 1-mile or 5k-walk/run option and refreshing rest stops along the way will help rejuvenate you with snacks and drinks. When you return from the walk, enjoy a fresh lunch, music and a fun kid zone. Prizes will be awarded to the “best dressed” and “most spirited” teams and the “most inspirational” walk participant.” You can register for the event today, which takes place on Saturday April 16th, and join hundreds of Big Bear Lake residents and visitors, raise awareness and funds to find the cause and cure to multiple sclerosis.
