Big Bear City, CA July 6, 2012 4:00 pm – Today around 1:00 pm a motorcycle traveling eastbound on North Shore Drive was involved in an accident with a white pickup truck traveling west. The vehicles came to rest where near Greenway Drive on Highway 38. The California Highway Patrol, Big Bear Sheriffs and local fire authorities responded to the accident scene. The highway was briefly closed diverting traffic to side streets. Big Bear Paramedics administrated emergency first aid to the Motorcycle driver who was transported for further medical assistance. An investigation into this accident was underway, at this time local authorities do not have a cause for the accident.
