Monday’s Family Fun Night Moves to Swim Beach for 10th Anniversary

Community groups are coming together for Monday’s 10th anniversary of Family Fun Night, which will be held at Swim Beach, at Park Avenue’s west end in Big Bear Lake, from 3:30 to 7pm on the 21st.  Family Fun Night is an opportunity for parents and children to enjoy fun activities together, while also providing families with information about services and opportunities within the Big Bear Valley. The annual program, this year co-hosted by Bear Valley Healthy Start, the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District, the Big Bear Valley Kiwanis Club, the Bear Valley Unified School District, and others, will include exhibits, firefighting demonstrations, zoo animals, information on bike safety, health insurance, literacy and domestic violence prevention, as well as free food and entertainment. There is no cost to attend Family Fun Night, and families are encouraged to participate in this annual event which, again, takes place at Swim Beach, just west of Meadow Park, from 3:30 to 7pm on Monday.
