Big Bear Valley, CA, May 30, 2014 – When voters go to the polls next Tuesday, they’ll find two local measures: Measure E would authorize the City of Big Bear Lake Department of Water to sell the Rimforest system to the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District. Measure F would extend the expiring parcel tax for 10 years, to support hospital services in the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District.
County offices to be voted on include Assessor/Recorder, Auditor/Controller and the Sheriff/Coroner.
Two seats representing our district are up for grabs: in the U.S. House of Representatives and the State Assembly.
The Statewide Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can find your polling place on the back of your Voting Information Guide, by visiting the registrar of voters online, or by calling (800) 881-VOTE. Voters also have the option of casting early ballots on at the County Elections Office (777 East Rialto Avenue) on Friday, May 30, Saturday, May 31 or Monday, June 2 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
