Big Bear, CA, September 16th, 2016 – Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2016, LASD Parole Apprehension Team contacted the Big Bear Sheriff Station and advised of a wanted person possibly living in the Big Bear area. William Marsh was wanted for State Parole violations and had a No Bail Warrant for his arrest from the Probation Department. Marsh was in violation of his conditions of release by failing to report since December 2015.
Marsh was contacted at his family’s residence and arrested. During a search of Marsh’s home, deputies located a large quantity of counterfeit money along with equipment used for the counterfeit manufacturing. Marsh was arrested for Possession of Counterfeit Money and his felony warrant and remains in custody in lieu of bail. His arraignment hearing is set for September 19, 2016, at the San Bernardino County Superior Court.
Investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have had financial transactions with William Marsh.
