Big Bear, Ca, April 19, 2011, 1:00pm – Parents who have children who will turn 5 years old by December 2nd of this year are eligible to enroll their child in kindergarten. Kindergarten orientations will be held starting this Thursday, April 21st at Big Bear Elementary School and North Shore Elementary School. Big Bear Elementary’s kinder orientation will begin at 5:00pm in the school gym. Big Bear Elementary is located at the corner of Knickerbocker and Pennsylvania. North Shore Elementary’s kinder orientation will begin at 6:00pm. Northshore is located on the corner of North Shore Drive and Stanfield Cutoff. Baldwin Lane will not be holding a kinder orientation this week. Instead they will have their meeting the week before school starts in August. All three schools will have enrollment packets available in the front office for pickup. If you are unfamiliar with which school your child should attend based on location, call the district office at 866-4631.
