The July 4th event traffic plan will be in effect following this year’s fireworks celebration. The City of Big Bear Lake with the enforcement efforts of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department along with the California Highway Patrol want to help ease some of the traffic tangles that traditionally follow the fireworks show. Motorists will make right hand turns only entering Big Bear Blvd. from Georgia to Temple Streets. Plan ahead and park accordingly, depending on which way you will be leaving after the fireworks show. If you will be traveling east after the show, motorists should park south of Big Bear Blvd. Likewise, if to plan to travel west, motorists should park north of Big Bear Blvd. Plan your parking to aid in planning your departure route.
