Big Bear, Ca March 21, 2011 8:00 am – Ike’s Rockin’ Dogs, the hotdog cart seen at Big Bear Chamber Mixers and other events around the valley was looking forward to expanding into a full deli-style restaurant. The owners, Kath and Sue had found what they had hoped was the perfect location next to the creek in Fawnskin. The former site of Amangela’s, now located in the Big Bear Lake Village, had been vacant for several months. The residents of Fawnskin were looking forward to Ike’s opening in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, negotiations with the landlord to bring the restaurant up to code to meet Health Department requirements fell through on March 19. Now Ike’s is looking for a new home.
