Big Bear Lake, CA, May 13, 2013 – The Bear Valley Community Health Care District (BVCHD) has retained the services of a new Interim Human Resources (HR) manager.
Harold Grayson has decades of experience as a Human Resources Manager, including hospital experience, having worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center and White Memorial Medical Center in HR Management positions. He has an MBA from La Sierra University, Riverside and a BS and MA from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster and is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
The Boston native moved to California with his wife in 1998 for a warmer climate. They currently live in Riverside, but Mr. Grayson will be living in Big Bear four days a week as he helps the hospital move forward with their restructuring proposal. He will be involved with organizing three trainings specifically designed for staff and managers: Stress Management, Organizational Change/Downsizing, and Embracing Workplace Diversity. All trainings will be presented by the Holman Group, who are pioneers in managed behavioral health care.
Interim CEO Raymond Hino stated, “I felt that it was particularly important to have an experienced HR Manager on board, as quickly as possible, due to the importance of conducting ourselves in accordance with labor law regulations, our union contracts and in providing our employees with the support that they deserve as we move forward.“
Grayson has said he is willing to work for BVCHD as long as it takes to recruit a permanent HR Manager.
