UPDATE: Big Bear Lake, CA, October 30, 2015 – 5:22pm – Two suspects, Sarah Miskam, a 27-year old female and Dusty Miskam, a 31-year old male, have been arrested today in the homicide investigation reported earlier this morning. The victim, Alexander Miskam, a 25-year old male, was pronounced deceased in the early morning hours today after the Big Bear Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a man down on Starvation Flats Road shortly after midnight. During the investigation, detectives learned that three suspects attempted to rob another individual in the Holcomb Creek area. During the course of the armed robbery, the intended victim confronted the suspects. Alexander Miskam sustained life threatening injuries and was taken by car by another suspect to where his body was later discovered. As a result of the investigation, Sarah and Dusty Miskam were arrested on charges of murder and armed robbery. Both were booked at the Big Bear jail, where they are currently being held without bail.
Big Bear Lake, CA, October 30, 2015 – Shortly after midnight this morning, deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a man down on Starvation Flats Rd. just south of Big Bear Blvd. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male subject lying in the roadway. The subject was transported by ambulance to Bear Valley Community Hospital and pronounced deceased. Investigators believe the subject was the victim of a homicide. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Homicide Division responded to Big Bear and are working with Detectives of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station to investigate the murder.
