Big Bear, Ca, October 29, 2011, 12:00pm – Children young and old can dress up in costume, and trick or treat through the Big Bear Lake Village on Halloween, Monday October 31st. The Big Bear tradition will continue this year, with the roads within the Village, Pine Knot and The Village Drive being closed down between 4:00 and 9:00pm. Village businesses, and other valley businesses and organizations set up trick or treat stations in the village and pass out candy to the trick or treaters! This year there will be a haunted house at the Wishing Well at Nottingham’s Resort. Once again search and rescue will be on hand to host a lost parent, lost child booth. KBHR will have a booth at Christmas Tree point, and will be playing Halloween music all night. Dress warm, bring a smile, and stop by the booth to say hi. Trick or treating will take place between 4:30 and 8:30pm.
