Big Bear, Ca, November 8, 2010, 12:00pm – Tonight a team of 6 men from the United Kingdom and the United States will run from Joshua Tree up through Pioneer town, and into the Big Bear Valley ending in the Big Bear Village. The team is running in the Gumpathon, which was inspired by fictional character Forest Gumps run across America. The Gumpathon is an organization that raised money that will go towards helping military men and women who have sustained major injuries. Money collected goes to the following charities: Help for Heroes, The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, and the US injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. The team consists of Colour Sergeant Damien Todd, Mark Ormrod, Master Gunnery Sergeant Charles Padilla, Marine, Jamie Jobson, Corporal Lloyd Fenner, and SSgt James Mazzoni-Dalton.
