Big Bear, CA, October 14, 2016 – The stated mission of EQUU8 (pronounced equate) is to enrich the lives of horses and humans, with or without disabilities, by providing equal opportunities through meaningful equine-assisted activities and horsemanship.
Suzanne Hodges, Executive Director of EQUU8, says, “For some people, the path to healing is found through horses. As a teacher through EQUU8, I hope to help bring respectful horsemanship together with therapeutic riding (certified by PATH International) for a perfect connection between human (with or without special needs) and horse.”
On October 15, EQUU8 will be holding their 3rd Annual Benefit Concert and Live Auction, Campfire at the Cave. Music and entertainment will be provided by award winning Dave Stamey, who True West Magazine named the Best Living Western Solo Musician. Opening for Dave will be Adrian, AKA the BuckarooGirl. A talented, singer/songwriter with an infectious, positive attitude and a powerful voice, Adrian takes her listeners deep into the lives and challenges faced by cowboys and ranchers through songs that reflect her experiences growing up on ranches throughout the west.
