Big Bear, Ca, February 21, 2012, 5:00pm – The Hacienda Grill will be holding a fundraiser for local 25 year old Kim Fares, who is currently fighting Stage 4 Breast Cancer. The Hacienda Grill will donate 30% of their proceeds from orders off their regular menu on Wednesday, February 21st, and will also donate 50 cents for each “like” they get on their Facebook page. Kim moved to Big Bear from San Diego three years ago, and loves snowboarding, the lake, music and dancing. She was diagnosed in November, and cut her hair in January and donated it before starting chemo. According to friends, her spirits are high, and her determination is inspiring. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes from local businesses with proceeds going to Kim’s medical expenses as well.
