Big Bear, Ca, October 1, 2010, 8:00am – The flashlight Safari’s at the Moonridge Animal Park will begin this weekend and will run every Saturday through October, allowing children both young and old to experience the nightlife of the zoo. The price is $9 for adults $6 for children, and the doors will open at 6:15pm, and close at 7 pm when the tour begins. There will be a short talk on nocturnal animals, and their adaptations at 7pm, with the tour will begin directly after that. Guests should dress warmly and bring a flashlight. “It is really nice for people to be able to see how some of the animals act at night, and to hear the different sounds,” said Debbie Richardson, Curator at the Moonridge Animal Park. The first Flashlight Safari is this Saturday Night.
