Flagging Operations In Big Bear City

Big Bear, Ca, October 13, 2011, 12:00pm – Motorists should be advised that road work on Highway 18 will continue this week, and may impact drive time within the Big Bear City area.  The project which started in July of 2010, started at the HWY 18/ 247 junction in Lucerne Valley, and is scheduled to be concluded by this winter.  The project currently is being worked on by Caltrans in the Big Bear City Area near Greenway Drive, with flagging operations taking place.  The project consists of road rehabilitation with one way flagging operations between the hours of 9am to 6pm, with Division Drive being the end point of the project.  Motorists are advised to add extra drive time if planning on driving through Big Bear City during flagging times, or choose another route.
