“Fight Like A Girl” Get Your Mammogram Today!

Big Bear, Ca, September 30, 2011, 12:00pm – The Soroptimists of Big Bear Valley along with the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District are providing free mammography screenings for Big Bear Valley women who qualify.  This free service will be offered from now through October 26^th for women who do not have insurance.  The Soroptimists encourage all women, whether they have insurance or not to get a mammogram.  According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation one in eight women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime, and breast cancer is the most common cancer next to skin cancer among women in the US.  The Soroptimists encourage the women in the valley to “fight like a girl, and get screened today.” To schedule you appointment today, call 878-8261.
