Big Bear City, CA, August 9, 2012, 8:00am – An unidentified body was found in the attic of a Big Bear City home on East Meadow Lane. The death of the female is under investigation by Homicide Detectives. The body that was discovered was badly decomposed. On Monday, Sheriff’s Deputies were called when members of the family found the body in the attic. At that time, the death was considered suspicious, so homicide detectives were called in to conduct an investigation. The Sheriff’s Department says that due to the condition of the body, injuries could not immediately be identified. The San Bernardino County Coroner will conduct an autopsy to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
