Fawnskin/San Bernardino, CA — Last Wednesday, March 10, Big Bear Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested three individuals in Fawnskin; it was during a warrant service that a large amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and items used for the packaging and sale of illegal drugs were found at a residence in the 42000 block of North Shore Drive, in addition to $700 in cash and a loaded shotgun. The three individuals arrested included two women, ages 22 and 24, and a 25-year-old male, a felon who was also arrested for being in the possession of a firearm. All three had been held at West Valley Detention Center last week. Suspect Jessica Baca had her arraignment Friday via video from county jail, during which time she pled not guilty (to counts including possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance) and was assigned a preliminary hearing to take place on March 25. Per San Bernardino County court documents, parolee Kenneth Burhop remains in custody, and is scheduled for an arraignment on April 6; documentation on the third defendant, Kelley Perez, was not yet posted.
