Big Bear, Ca, October 17, 2011, 1:00pm – Big Bear City and Big Bear Lake residents can dump excess trash this weekend as part of an Electronic Waste Round Up, Community Clean Up, and Free Dump Day on this Saturday, October 22nd. Residents of Big Bear City can take their trash/ electronic waste to the CSD Paradise Maintenance Yard on Paradise Road and 417 Grenfall Lane, and Big Bear Lake residents can go to the Clean Bear Site #1, located at 41970 Garstin Drive. Both locations will be accepting items from 8:00am to 3:00pm. In addition to regular household trash, yard waste and tree trimmings, appliances, furniture, tires (off the rim), electronic waste, and televisions, the following items will also be accepted: cell/ mobile phones, telephones, fluorescent tubes, radios/ stereos, microwave ovens, clothes irons, VCRs, space heaters, computers, printers, batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, & 9v), aerosol cans, and thermostats.
