The Easter Bunny will be hopping through Big Bear this weekend, and two Easter Egg Hunts are offered to the public—one on Saturday, another on Sunday. The annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Soroptimists will be held at Pine Summit Christian Camp, from 10am to noon on April 11. Children should bring their own Easter basket, and parents are reminded to bring a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. The two-hour event at Pine Summit, located at the south end of Wren Avenue off the Boulevard in Big Bear Lake, will include the egg hunt, as well as arts & crafts, games, and a bounce house. On Sunday morning, Snow Summit resort hosts two Easter Egg Hunts, one starting at 8am for young adults 13 and over, and another at 10am for children 12 and under. The 8am hunt takes place on Summit Run, so a lift ticket will be required; no lift ticket needed for the children’s hunt, which will be at Summit’s base area. Each hunt will include a Golden Egg, featuring a four-pack of lift tickets for next season. For those who want to partake in an Easter worship service, the Big Bear Valley Ministerial Association hosts the annual Sunrise Service at Pine Summit on Easter morning. This non-denominational worship service begins at 6:30am on April 12.
