Big Bear City, Ca April 18, 2011 8:00 am – The Big Bear City Community Services District will hold a regular board meeting today at 5:30 pm. On the agenda for this evening’s meeting is the introduction of two proposed ordinances, one to increase ambulance service fees, and the other to increase sewer connection fees. Additional discussion and possible action will be taken on the April 12 Finance Committee Meeting’s budget recommendations and a proposed new entrance to the Paradise yard. New business on the agenda is a proposed resolution to adopt local guidelines for implementing the CA Environmental Quality Act, a request from a member of the public to display the motto “In God We Trust” in the Boardroom, a request from a member of the public to discuss documentation of public comment during Board meetings, and a discussion of revised pay scales for Superintendents and Foremen. Two labor negotiations will take place during the closed session. At the beginning of the meeting, 5 new paid call fire fighters will be presented with their badges, and a safety award for the first quarter of 2011 will be presented to Safety Compliance Coordinator Rachael Jahn. As always, the public is encouraged to attend and participate during the public comment portion of the meeting. Board meetings are held at the CSD offices at 139 E Big Bear Blvd in Big Bear City.
