San Bernardino County hosts the third annual Seniors Healthy Aging Fair next Wednesday, June 24 at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville. In addition to a continental breakfast, as well as a complimentary lunch, the event will include health screenings (including blood pressure, oxygen level and blood sugar), entertainment, Wii tournaments, Tai Chi demonstrations, a healthy group walk, information on a variety of senior-focused services, and door prizes—seniors who bring their expired medications get an extra door prize ticket. The Seniors Healthy Aging Fair begins with the 8am breakfast, followed by an 8:30am walk, and the exhibit hall will be open from 9am to noon. Next Wednesday’s fair, located at the fairgrounds at 14800 7th Street in Victorville, is free of charge, though seniors are asked to RSVP by Friday to be assured of lunch.
