The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia and a Director with the United States Department of Commerce were distinguished guests at last night’s City of Big Bear Lake’s City Council Meeting. Council members presented a proclamation to the Honorable Consulate General Subijaksono Sujono thanking him for spending time in Big Bear in order to develop trade relations between Indonesia and Big Bear Choppers for the exportation of motorcycles to his country. Accompanying him was Fred Latuperissa, Director of the US Department of Commerce International Trade Administration who is responsible for setting up relationships with other countries to export as many U.S. products as possible. The group toured Big Bear Choppers with owner Kevin Alsop and Mayor Rick Herrick earlier in the day.
