City Requires “No Fee Permit” For Memorial Weekend Yard Sales

Big Bear, Ca, May 24, 2011, 12:00pm – Residents of the City of Big Bear Lake who are interested in having a yard sale this weekend are required to get a “no-fee permit” from City Hall.  Permit applications are available at the public counter in the Civic Center located at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.  The process to get a “no-fee permit” is very quick, as the city is allowing residents to come to City Hall and log their address or residents can call 866-5831 to be added to the list.  The city asks that those hosting yard sales do not post yard sale signs on power poles, street sign poles, traffic signal poles, or trees.  The city asks that you be kind to the environment and do not post signs on trees, as doing so could cause potential damage.  For more information, or to add your name to the list of yard sales this Memorial Day weekend call 866-5831.
