City Council Approves Village Passageway

Big Bear, Ca, February 15, 2011, 3:00pm – At the February 14^th meeting of the Big Bear Lake City Council members approved that the City move forward with the creation of a pedestrian passageway in the Village that will link Bartlett Parking Lot with the Pine Knot Ave. The passageway will be between North Pole Fudge and Village Theaters North. Council also gave direction to city staff regarding the “Signs and Outdoor Display” development code amendments, encouraging the City staff to do public outreach on the issue and to make sure the Chamber of Commerce agrees with the direction the city is taking. A presentation was also made to Sergeant John Gaffney, who received a service pin for 10 years with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
