Chamber members from within the Big Bear Valley will come together on October 13th to compete in the annual Chamber “Chilly Chili Evening.” The mixer, which lasts from 5 to 7pm, will allow attendees to taste 11 different chilis. Hosted by the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce, the mixer will be held in the Bartlett parking lot, located next to the Chamber of Commerce/ Visitors Center. The mixer is co- sponsored by Edward Jones which specializes in financial planning and investments.
All attending are encouraged to dress warm, and bring an empty stomach in preparation for chili tasting. Attendees will vote on their favorite chili entry, with the winning chili going on to compete in the Old Miners’ Days Chili Cook-off.
Members get in free, and non-members are only $5.00. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets from the Chambermaids, and enter to win Chinese auction prizes. Prizes include a portable propane barbeque from Southwest Gas, a three month membership to the Mountain Fitness Center, a carved bear by Kirby’s Custom Carvings, and much more!
