Chamber Power Lunch To Talk About Sign Ordinance

Big Bear, Ca, April 6, 2011, 9:00am – The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce will host their April Power Lunch On Thursday, April 7th from 11:30-1pm at Nottingham’s in the Village. The featured speaker this month will be Ruth Lorentz, Assistant City Planner for the City of Big Bear Lake.  Lorentz will be speaking about the major changes to the Revised Sign Ordinance, which is currently in the process of being approved by the City, and will go into effect August 2011.  In her presentation Lorentz will be talking about the major changes to the ordinance, which includes A –frame reduction, incentives for businesses, and much more.  The Chamber urges any business with a sign should attend this presentation to get a good overview of what the City is proposing.  The cost for the Power Lunch is $15 for members, and $20 for non- members.  For more information call the Chamber at 866-4607.
