Chain Installers Needed

Big Bear, Ca, September 21, 2011, 1:00pm – With the snow season approaching, the Department of Transportation is accepting applications for chain installers in the mountain communities.  For those who are interested in chain installing this winter season, need to deliver or have their application form postmarked no later than this Friday, September 23^rd.  There will be a chain installer test for all applicants on October 15^th at 9:00am at the Dry Creek Maintenance Station, located at 32821 off Highway 18 in Running Springs.  Applicants must turn in their form to take this test.  To obtain a form or for more information go to our www.dot.ca.gov/dist8/ or call 867-2102.
