Big Bear, Ca, January 17, 2011, 11:30am – “Bobby” Robert Wayne Smith passed away on January 7, 2012. Bobby lived in Big Bear from 1999-2007 when he moved with his parents Wayne and Connie Smith, to Denver, Colorado for his medical treatment. In spite of Bobby’s illness and disability, he was very active and lived life to the fullest. While living in Big Bear, Bobby attended school at the Co-op in the Pines, and Baldwin Lane Elementary School. He was also involved in many activities in the valley including skiing, horseback riding, bike riding, and flying. Bobby was probably best known for his wonderful smile, his outgoing personality and his love of life. A celebration of his life will be held in Big Bear on January 21, at 1:00pm in the PTL Ministries building, 40880 Pedder (corner of Knickerbocker and Pedder). This service will be at the same time as the service in Colorado and will be connected by live screening video so all can share together in the incredible life of this young man.
